The 12h-SalzAlpenSteig hike starts at Königssee and ends after 12 hours at the Predigtstuhl in Bad Reichenhall. The climb to Söldenköpfl leads across Hammerstiel, Hinterschönau and Engedey. There is a slight gradient to cope with on the way to the Karkopf, the highest rise in the Lattengebirge. On the top we will make a break in a cosy restaurant called Schlegelmulde. The short final stages leads to the mountain station of the historical Predigtstuhlbahn. The participants will take the cable car down to Bad Reichenhall.
