24h-Nagelfluhkette alpin

Departure and arrival of the 24h hiking tour is the Kurpark in Oberstaufen. The route runs through Weißach for the first break at the mountain restaurant Hündle. It continues across the Buchenegger waterfalls in one of the last primeval forests in Germany. The path then leads along the Weißach to the Hochgrat valley station and further across the Brunnenau up to the summit. This is the highest point with 1834 altitude difference. The way leads across the western Nagelfluhkette to the mountain restaurant Falkenhütte and through the high plateau of Hörmoos and Kojen. At the restaurant Imberghaus the hikers get a midnight-snack and they will visit a mountain mass. After that they are going down to Schindelberg and to the Royal Bavarian Enzian hut in Weißach. The last part of the tour leads across the Eibele waterfalls and Döbilisried back to the starting point in Oberstaufen.
